Discharge
A discharge is an outlet where a line leaves the pump, each with its own valve and pressure gauge. Opening a discharge sends pump water into that attack line.
Each discharge has a gate to control its flow and a gauge that reads the pressure at the valve. That gauge is the operator's window into the line — but it reads before the hose takes anything, so the tip always gets less than the panel shows.
With one pump making one pressure, the gates are how the operator trims individual lines. Throttle for the line that needs the most, then gate the easier lines back to their own targets.
