Tank to Pump

For academies

A standards-informed learning aid for pump-operator concepts.

Tank to Pump V1 is designed to support conceptual learning and scenario repetition. It does not certify operators, but it can help learners connect classroom hydraulics to visible pump-panel behavior.

What evaluators can review today.

  • Repeatable concept practice
  • Visual water-path instruction
  • Branching scenarios
  • Training-math visibility
  • Optional user progress
  • Future group/instructor roadmap
  • Future standards/JPR mapping exploration

Standards-informed in V1. Formal mapping later.

V1 uses common fire-service pump-operator concepts and training language, but it does not claim formal standards alignment, JPR mapping, AHJ approval, or the authority to certify competence.

Future releases may explore JPR mapping, AHJ customization, instructor dashboards, scenario assignment, and exportable training records.

Common evaluator questions

Does Tank to Pump claim formal standards alignment?

No. V1 is standards-informed: it uses common fire-service pump-operator concepts and training language, but it does not claim formal standards alignment, JPR mapping, or AHJ approval. Future academy-focused versions may explore JPR mapping and AHJ customization.

Does Tank to Pump include instructor mode?

Not in V1. Lightweight group/instructor support is planned for V1.5, including session codes, shared scenario launch, and basic completion summaries.

Can I use this at drill night?

Yes. V1 can be used informally with a crew around a tablet, laptop, or projector. Formal group mode and instructor dashboards are planned for later.
