Tank to Pump

Account & Progress

Tank to Pump is guest-first: the core training works with no account at all. Creating a free account saves your progress so it follows you across devices, and a paid Pro plan unlocks more scenarios, drills, and tools.

What works without an account

You can do all of this as a guest, with nothing to sign up for:

As a guest, your progress is saved on this device. It stays in this browser between visits — closing the tab or restarting the browser does not lose it — but it won't follow you to another browser or device, and clearing your browser data clears it.

What signing in adds

Signing in saves your progress to your account and syncs it across all your devices — lessons, scenario attempts, your flashcard schedule, and your practice history all travel with you.

Signing in or creating an account takes you straight to your Progress page.

Guest progress carries over. If you complete lessons or scenarios as a guest and then create an account, the Progress page offers to save your work from this device — every lesson and every scenario you ran, not just the most recent one. Accept it and your guest progress merges into your account; skip it and it stays on this device only. Practice stats and your flashcard schedule already show up on a signed-in account automatically (merge-on-read), no prompt needed.

Free vs. Pro

The fundamentals are free. Pro adds the reps, scenarios, and saved progress that help you prepare for driver/operator training.

Tank to Pump is in beta, and feature packaging may change. The pricing page in the app always shows the current plans and prices.

Free trial

New to Pro? The monthly plan starts with a 7-day free trial:

  • You enter a card up front, but you're not charged during the trial — you get full Pro access for 7 days.
  • When the trial ends, the monthly plan bills automatically unless you cancel first. Cancel anytime before the trial ends from Manage billing on the Account page and you won't be charged.
  • The Account page shows how many days are left in your trial and the date the first charge would land.
  • The trial is one per account. The annual and Founding Member (lifetime) offers don't include a trial — they start right away.

Signing in or creating an account

On the Account page you can:

  • Create an account with your email and a password (at least 8 characters), with an optional display name, or use Continue with Google.
  • Sign back in, or use Forgot password to reset it by email.
  • Always choose "Continue without signing in" to keep training as a guest — the app never forces you to sign in, and if the account system is ever unavailable you can still train.

Once signed in, the Account page shows your display name and email and a Sign out button. Signing out keeps the saved data on that device; only signed-in data syncs across devices.

Your Progress page

The Progress page is your training dashboard. It leads with a "Your next rep" suggestion — what to run next based on where you are: finish the lesson you started, start the track, run a scenario, or take a drill. Below it are your counts — lessons completed, scenarios practiced, and drills — and your scenario history, one card per scenario you have run. ("Scenarios practiced" counts distinct scenarios you have finished at least once, not total runs.) Signed in, it's saved across devices and includes accuracy trends and your practice timeline. As a guest, it shows your on-device record only.

Every module you finish counts: the Progress page and the Lessons hub both track all ten separately, so completing a second lesson never replaces the first.

This is a personal practice record for your own learning — it is not an official or certified training record.
